I’m trying not to get all excited about the potential kitten, but I do need to start thinking about names. Even if this kitten doesn’t work out, there will be one eventually.

These are my top six:
Aurora (means “the dawn”—and she was born in N. Aurora, Illinois)
Layla (means “born at night”)
Lila (dark beauty)
Timia (honor of God)
Svitani (also means “the dawn” but Czech), this would be a toast to her breeder Helen who is Czech
Zaliki (well-born)

My favorite is Aurora because the dawn is the beginning of a new day, just like this new phase of my world.
(plus I like the nickname Rory–it gives tribute to a tiny tiger roar)
